I'm a PC.

Not to be PC,
but a Jobs loss is everybody's loss.

Not to compare apples and oranges,
but to be Buddhist and Billionaire?
Not to pun completely or cherry pick,
I mean pop culture.

[I guess it is in reaction to someone* who used the death of Steve Jobs to demean those who occupy wallstreet, I take a different path. Not to give a RIP in vain.]

* that someone is not linked on this post, but they used the Slate link under "pop culture".

Update

Spell check "strength"

Pop Quiz: blog search "strengths" (there are at this time four hits.
(note: searches might change over time, but I am not sure that even the al gor'ythms might not, also this is the reference to pop quiz, no G'ribble intended, but you can search for yourself - actually further reference of "strengths" at bold this.)
(also I must update links and labels, in particular Navigation and the evolution of changing course)

[BTW*** this is on point: Simpson Bowles was taken up by Obama, as a committee that did not have consensus. Hence it is more as Warner contexts it than Chambliss con texts it. And here is how I'ved parsed that point; The Curve or Nuance Thing, The Timing Thing, Duoh!, Flash Words]

Third Times A Charm?

Or one too many mulligans?
(the rough, the fairway or the green)

David Horsey: "without green being a factor in making us see red."

Horsey's cartoon goes overboard on voters

At the risk of being obvious, I would like to comment on David Horsey's "Red & Blue America" (May 19). For the sake of humor, it went overboard in its characterizations of those who voted for George W. Bush or Al Gore. I hope it is a good thing if people realize, like I did, how we can see one side funnier or less overboard than the other.

I hope the humor can be less dividing than the colors pinned on Gore and Bush. It also made me realize that there may be value in using more colors, but somehow without green being a factor in making us see red.

[Personal Note:  See bold and italics bold. For apparently the italicized irony, "green" was replaced by "colors" by the editors.]  Not to condi send but, Nader was a factor along with chads.

More on Boehner and jobs later. i.e. the success and pop(ularity) of congress

Snooki?

With the comments of Republicans recently, like Senator Jim DeMint, and Senator Jim Bunning, it was tempting just to call their offices to ask if they are getting many expletive deleted calls. That is a serious inquiry, because I wonder just how many sensible people would even think their call mattered, considering their behavior * which is frequently rude and more commonly childish, and forget having any relationship to facts. Really, it might make more sense to quote Peewee Herman. "I know you are but what am I.(...)Infinity." Especially with the employment of Snooki. Peewee may be on the road to reform, but at least he knows he is childish. "Kids, these days." Speaking of cultural cracks: "Mr. Wilson!"(R)

*in the halls of Congress? Not to mention other whining.(SEE BTW)

BTW: Glenn Beck is a PC figure, standing for Pop Culture as in destroy civilization.
Oh and I have employed a new label, except it would too frequently be applied as it is the Republican Agenda.

(R) a ribble on a recent app

[On the other hand(American Exceptionalism) and foot in mouth, I can't remember who said... what?... but in regards to the fall of the Soviet Union, either before or after, in the thinking of Reagan or the latest Bush, just because a president will not put his actions into words, does not mean they cannot be justified, nor not be changed.]
